NOTARY REGISTER Every notary public must keep and maintain custody and control of an accurate chronological register of all official acts throughout his/her commission.
PENNSYLVANIA RUBBER STAMP SEAL Notaries public commissioned in Pennsylvania are required to use a rubber stamp seal for all notarial acts. The rubber stamp seal must show the name of the notary spelled exactly as it is on the notary commission license; the name of the municipality (not the political subdivision); the county in which the notary maintains an office and the date the notary's commission expires. Please note that the stamp seal is not required to contain to reference the state of Pennsylvania. A notary public may wish to add the preprinted words "Commonwealth of Pennsylvania" outside the top of the plain border of the seal. A notary public must ensure that the rubber stamp seal capable of photographic reproduction. Notaries may use an embosser in conjunction with the rubber stamp seal; however the embosser is optional.
PENNSYLVANIA EMBOSSING SEAL Notaries may use an embosser in conjunction with the rubber stamp seal, however the rubber stamp seal is required and the embosser is optional.
